the RFL weekend

And so the big event has come and gone.
I spent most of my Saturday and Sunday walking the track, and even if I took all that time to complete one single lap, I visited the wonderful places the teams built I cammed around and took a ton of pictures.

In the end I was able to walk back to the sailing area just in time to see the last laps of the Sail for Life Marathon where I sailed a couple of stages in the previous hours.

I won't share too many images here. They are several hundreds and you can find my favorites here and the full collection here.

Here are just a few, chosen almost randomly, to give you the feeling of the places, but the sims are there until the end of July, so , if you haven't done it yet, go and see in person.

Visit the sims, enjoy the beautiful buildings (the Temple of Hope in the picture) and drop some Lindens in the kiosk. RFL is something should make everybody proud to be in SL !

I will be sailing the first hour of the Marathon Sail at Relay for Life at 12pm SLT :)

I took some pictures of Winterfell in the past couple of days. I started taking pictures of Winterfell and Libris, that are going away soon, and I wanted to keep some memories. The All-Stars Relay for Life Fashion Fest 2010

I learned rather late of this event, which is a shame, because it has been wonderfully organized and it ends tomorrow.

The sims are beautifully designed and the exhibitors are first class. Spending some time dwelling among the shops and the live shows is surely worth the time

Radio Riel Day for Life

Starting at 12:00 am SLT Radio Riel will have a residents sponsored program to raise funds for Relay for Life: Riel Day for Life

Yours truly will sponsor the first hour 12:00 - 1:00 am.
It is a difficult time, being 9am in Europe (early for a Sunday :) ) and late night in America, but for those who are online and want to join me, I'll be on the deck of my flagship in Winterfell Eventide
